Adding to the site’s many amenities, the Shops at Arlington Market will house convenient retail and service-oriented tenants.  Several of the existing retailers such as Eros Restaurant, Subway Deli, and Ben Franklin Bank (with added drive-thru facilities) will remain in the center.  The southern-most portion of the existing in-line building will be fully renovated in order to house existing tenants and provide for a continuity of their services during construction.  A matching newly constructed “L-shaped” building will provide space for added tenants bringing the center’s overall size to a total of 42,000 square feet. The retail center will cater to residents of Arlington Market’s new condominium and single-family neighborhoods as well as existing homeowners and surrounding businesses.  Interconnecting pedestrian walkways will link the newly constructed residential areas to the center.  Vehicular access from all three surround roadways, coupled with an overabundance of on-site parking, will allow motorists easy in-and-out access to the center’s many offerings.  With the additional future tenants, including plans for a neighborhood grocery store, The Shops at Arlington Market will add substantial convenience and value for all of its new residents.
